Amy, who is a native of Bassett, NE, holds an associate's degree in business management - marketing from Northeast Community College. During and after college she was employed in the financial industry at both Elkhorn Valley Bank in Norfolk, and Archer Credit Union in Archer. In 2007, she became a full-time homemaker after the birth of her first child.

Amy has been a proud SDA dance mom since 2010 and chipped in a recital room mom every year until 2020. In 2o20, Leah Brown suggested to Miss Becky that she hire Amy as the studio assistant, and the rest, as they say, is history. Her favorite things about her job are the relationships she's built with fellow staff, parents and dancers, and seeing everyone's hard work pay off at competitions and recital.

Amy has been happily married to her husband, Jeremy since March 25, 2006. They live on a farm near Chapman where they grow row crops, and much to Jeremy's annoyance, tend to a small herd of very spoiled cattle. Amy is the proud mom of Taylyn (a CCHS senior and member of the SDA Competition Team) and Treyson (a CCHS freshman). Outside of the studio she enjoys spoiling her many animas (which includes dogs, cats, cows, and two miniature donkeys), going to the lake, spending time with her family, working in her yard, and hauling Taylyn, and her cows, to cattle shows across the country.
