Amy, a native of Bassett, NE, holds an associate's degree in business management - marketing from Northeast Community College. During and after college, she worked in the financial sector before becoming a SAH mom in April 2007. She currently works as a remote WDW Customer Service Agent in addition to her duties at SDA.

From 2010 to 2025, Amy was a proud SDA dance mom and volunteered as a recital room mom every year until 2020. In 2o20, a fellow parent suggested that Miss Becky hire Amy as the studio assistant, and the rest, as they say, is history. Her favorite things about her job are the relationships she's built with fellow staff, parents and dancers, and seeing everyone's hard work pay off at competitions and recital.

Amy has been happily married to her husband, Jeremy since March 25, 2006. They live on a farm near Chapman where they grow row crops, and much to Jeremy's annoyance, tend to a small herd of very spoiled cattle. Amy is the proud mom of Taylyn (a sophomore at Northeast Community College) and Treyson (a CCHS junior). Outside of the studio she enjoys spoiling her many animas (which includes dogs, cats, cows, and two miniature donkeys), going to the lake, spending time with her family, working in her yard, and attending cattle shows.
