Savanna graduated from Stephens College in 2016 with a Bachelor's Degree in Dance Performance and Education as well as a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management and Ownership. Raised in Columbus, NE, she trained at Barb's School of Dance under Barb Raemakers and Desiree Johnson as well as Kayla Hollatz and Rebecca Brandenburg.
While at Stephens, Savanna studied ballet, modern, musical theater, tap, and jazz with artists Elizabeth Hartwell, Deborah Carr, Carol Estey and Brandi Coleman. She has worked with guest artists such as Nancy Stoy, Russell Sultzbach, Francisco Granciano, Monique Jones, Martha Tornay, David Shen, Hettie Barnhill, Morgan Hulen, Tawanda Chabikwa, Kathryn Alter, Alex Mills and Tony Parise.
Savanna has performed in numerous productions such as the Citizen Jane Film Festival, Links Hall in Chicago, IL, American College Dance Association (formerly ACDFA), and she has performed with the Kim Robards Dance Company in Denver, CO and Visceral Dance Company in Chicago, Il.
Miss Savanna has been teaching and assisting dance classes of all styles for 15 years and is very passionate about her craft. She is currently teaching and choreographing for Steps Dance Academy in Central City, Barb's School of Dance in Columbus and Desiree's Dancers in David City where she is also the studio manager. Miss Savanna is a well-rounded, high-energy instructor who loves teaching all ages, levels, and style of dance!
